First DIY 50 Gal tank stand!

well we did screw them in. we placed 2 screws on the legs, one on each side and put them in at an angle.
Do u have a pic where u screwed them in. U pre drilled all the holes correct and what size bit did u use. I just gotta make sure I got everything all ready for the build friday
pre-drilled everthing, idk what size bit, but it was a size or 2 smaller then the screws. which were 2 1/2" #10's

as you can see the screws are located about an inch down the top and teh bottom of the leg. i took the drill bit and pre drilled straight into the wood for about a centimeter and then down at id like to say a 45 degree angle.
now thats how i did it, and its ver sturdy. BUT those L brackets would probly make it even more sturdy. BUT increase the cost ya know
and then on the inside of teh brace (not the legs), i put to screws into the top and bottom parts. make sense?
