First flirtation with 'the dark side'

Hi Claire...I get all my Marines from Ultimate Aquatics in Cupar....one of the top rated Marine shops in the UK(link to their website....http://www.uda.co.uk/)
Learned a very big lesson....these 2 Triggers along with a GS Maroon Clown were ordered from an online supplier...I was shocked to say the least at how they turned up...all 3 fish were packed in poly box no bigger than a shoebox...the bags had little or no air in them so they were almost flat...the Maroon was DOA and both Triggers were looking like they were soon to follow...lying on their side at the bottom of the acclimation bucket...since there was no other fish in the tank I took a chance and just put both in the display tank....lo and behold they made a full recovery a few weeks later I added the Foxface from Ultimate and she did great....another few weeks passes and I got a Maroon Clown again from Cupar...again did brilliant even hosting my 'fake' ananome. So now feeling pretty brave I go an order a Clown Tang, Koran Angel and a Harlequin Tusk from another online store...the Koran and Clown Tang looked great however the Tusk was in a bad way just lay on his side heavy breathing....a few days down the line woke up to find a dead Clown Tang, dead Koran and dead Tusk and most wounding of all the Clown Trigger I rescued was also dead.....gutted. So I got some credit from the online store and got a new baby Clown Trigg who has been amazing grown an inch in a month eating everything and has the most vivid colouring I have ever seen in a Clown Trigg(pics to follow)....
So lesson learned I will never go online to get that quick fish 'fix' again(I have used some of these shops before with FW with great results...guess SW fish are much more sensitive) I will stick to my lfs who I know quarrantine their fish and I can see the fish swimming/eating...then its just a short car journey home...
So current stock list is the Bursa Trig, Clown Trig, Maroon Clown and the Foxface all doing great.....
Got some serious hair algae problems now tho....I used tapwater and conditioners in the beginning...now having to admit I was wrong so switched to RO....got to get me a Tang to eat some of the algae the foxface seems to prefer prawns and flake lol.....
