After a short 3 year break from fish after the last of my ageing Frontosas passed away i stumbled across MFK and found myself in the local aquariums the next weekend stocking my tank with a new batch of Cichlids to accompany my old Gibbiceps cat .
The main reason for posting is to maybe get an id on my flowerhorn , i`m not particularly worried about whether it`s good quality or not , it just caught my eye so i bought it for the coloration .
Other tank mates are
Vieja Fenestratus
Texas
Green Terror
Green Severum
Gold severum
Jaguar
Jack Dempsey

Tank size 5 x 3 x 2

Great forum by the way :)

Nice setup and stock list , just keep your eye on things as they grow the jag and flowerhorn may have a few battles to be Alfa fish :)
Nice looking fh you've picked up cant help with the type as no expert myself but sure someone will help out

Thanks flowerhornfishman current size is about 3".

Evz jardini ,I`m hoping everything will work out as they mature .The flowerhorn is the most aggressive fish just hoping he`ll get put in his place by the Jag when the time comes.

ok, to me, it looks like a patternless-zhen zhou with pearls, have some trimac traits in it. never seen like this before. big chance it's a male, at tht size, he has potential to be a stunner. keep us updated though.
