First Gar

so i Just bought a alligator gar from my local pet store. This is my first gar just looking for any tips or advice you all might have to offer.

not sure that is a gator gar, but if it is....look for bigger tanks.

it's not a gator gar, likely a Florida gar (which is better for your first gar anyway). check out the various topics on Florida gars, growth rate, feeding, etc...should be plenty to get you started. welcome to garkeeping--

nice yea need a pic of it in the tank gars are pretty easy and not demanding at all, and yes they grow at incredible rates! big tank!
