First gun was a Remington 700P .308 24" barrel and a 410 Mossburg. Funny because Mossburg manufacturer used to be right next to my old house.

Ruger M77 Hawkeye in .270 with a nikon(dont remeber which but remeber it cost around 250)

I have the same rifle but the all weather stainless model with the skeletonized stock, but mine is chambered in the 7mm express aka as the 280...its a 7mm projectile on a 270 casing basically. Great rifle. Arguably the best white tail rifle round ever made, but often overlooked.

i love the .30-06 cause it's so versatile and very popular. i like how it fairly cheap and you can find it everywhere compared to the other rounds

I agree. I love my Winchester Model 70. Gotta love a round that was originally designed to hunt man.
