First human-monkey chimera raises concern among scientists

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
All kinds of wrong going on here. Creating a hybrid so you can experiment on the experiment.

I think it's a big mistake to make predatory animals more intelligent, particularly in a society over concerned about the rights of animals.

If that's where this experiment is going I would certainly be concerned about the legal ramifications.

But I'd be even more concerned about the social ones. I mean some idiot woman just married her chandelier so what's to prevent someone from "marrying" a humanoid?
YIKES!

Not far off from what I posted the other day

Japan's government has just approved experiments that will splice human cells into animal embryos.

Get ready for the next mass die off. No telling what's going to happen. A Tiger with human intelligence.. Deep Blue sea coming true.

Without debating the ethics of creating chimera’s, i just think its another way for the rich to live longer and the poor to keep suffering...

Coz even if they have a breakthrough in say the next 10 years, i can’t imagine how much longer it would be before the people on lower incomes would have a chance for these treatments to save their lives when needed...

Don't ever expect the world to ever be fair in regards to who gets what.

In fact, do not expect it to be fair in any manner whatsoever, or you will simply be disappointed.
