I would always do 25% weekly and the protein skimmer and the canisters would do fine as long as your making sure you clean out the canisters every week.

i think 10 percent weekly should be fine if you have a good skimmer. also depending on your coral choice. soft corals you could prob go every two weeks before water change. your skim mate should get most of your waste out. and with that small of a tank you are prob adding at least a one water bottle of water every other to every three days for top off. that should keep your ph in check. hard corals on the other hand need pristine water. look into vodka dosing for hards, vitamin c dosing for softs but read up first. read read read

So soft corals are more hardy? And can I put two anemones in one tank and have two breeding paires of clown fish or will that not work?

dont think your tank is big enough for 2 pairs of clowns. they are very territorial. if its a total must for two pairs of clowns get percula and get them small. they are the most friendly but i would just stick to one pair
 
I just picked up my 55 gallon saltwater aquarium and there's a lot of algae on the glasse right now. Should I leave it there of scrub it off? I also have 2 55 gallon filters running while my 125 gallon protein skimmer if on its way
