yesterday i went on my first native hunt of the year, i know i thought it is still kind of early but it was still a succes....i went to the local park and used my huge butterfly type net and scooped leaves and weeds from the shore line... i caught a few large tadpolls, a bunch of weird minnows i believe but i am not familiar with what they are( check pic) and a bull head about 3 in. like 5 blue gill about 3/4 in. and 2 crayfish, 1 with a ton of eggs attached below the tail... i kept all except the blue gill, i dont find them interesting..... but check out the pics.. :woot:

Looks like a Rainbow, but the head doesn't look like a darter if I remember right.

Cool. Looks like a killi fish. I'll be making my first collection trip here in a few weeks. :woot:

Anybody figure out what the second fish is?

yea i have no idea real :screwy: ly i saw them all over swimming or almost walking on the bottom, biggest one out of about 20 i caught was 1.5 in.
