congrats db glad to see one of them pop successfully! is there any more movement on her back or do you think she was just holding that chubby lil guy.

i would throw a male in "her" tank and do a waterchange at the same time to see if a male will knock her up

Best way to do it and not move the female at all. If the male is mature enough to breed he will do it within a day. You can then seperate her again or leave them in for longervamptrev;5049676; said:

I just moved her in with the other rays. She took the divider down twice and the lil guy was getting spooked.
The pearl looking male has been chasing her around all night thumping on her disk. Would really like to see what that pair would produce.
I think with some of the stubborn rays I have they just need a lil time. Look at thier track record..... Seems others have found consistancy to be a key factor with trying to breed these things. I'm sure the whole moving thing wasn't very enjoyable to them. Now they will be getting moved again this weekend. The 750 will FINALLY be finished, finally after 3 years
. Hoping to maybe get lucky enough to see movement on one of the big girls when looking at them from the side for the first time. Very excited to see Marbles this size in an actual tank.
