I doubt the photos are fake. it says somwhere that they've found dead ones but this was the first live one seen from an unmanned sub.

I wonder whatelse is downthere waiting to be discovered.

I always pictured the deep as a place were God/Evolution experimented with crazy things, kinda like natures Area 51...

WOW, I really thought that photo was fake, but I googled barreleye fish and found the same pics on National Geographics website. Pretty amazing
