First Pleco in a Long Time

Haven't had a pleco since 2005, and my algae is growing out of contorl without them:

Took the opportunity to shoot a quick pic of the hampala barb. Bad pic, but it's the latest update. He's pretty big now:

The most commonly abused scientific names being A. cirrhosus( Ancistrus sp. '3'), and A. dolichopterus (L183). While the majority of wild caught Ancistrus species are difficult to impossible to identify, but id guess either LDA53 or LDA72.

ps, that male looks like its ready to mate :naughty:
 
that thing pricked me with it's sharp gill spines (whatever you call it).

I was surprised at how soft and "jelly-like" the bushy growth is on the fish though.

even though I purchased that fish less than a week ago, I don't plan on keeping it much longer.
