Very nice. I enjoy reading the thread. Any updates or a full tank shot with the fishes?

great! and how does the rubber feels when you touch it? is it spoungy or soft or is it hard like plastic? in other words, is it more like a hockey puck or a Gumby? haha

great question. It didnt change in texture or feel once submerged that i can tell, which is a good sign. I wouldnt say it is spongy, but its not hard like a plastic either. Between the two, i would say it is closer to a hockey puck, with some give. like silicone, but slightly harder.

Fish are in.

Im was confident the tank was ready to go. since i already have a cycled FX5 on hand and all other equipment, i put the fish in. I still have to work out filtration, since i didnt drill the tank yet, but i have time for that.

Equipment so far as follows:

1 Fluval FX5 for filtration
two Fluval E300 heaters(new type)
2 Maxijet Powerheads
a 24 watt UV sterilizer
48inch T5HO powerglo light strip
4 sets of led moon lights
airator

The tank was built for the bigger ray. I just bought the smaller male motoro ray today for her.
I have their old tank running in case i made a mistake in adding them too soon, but i doubt i'll need it.
I am still working out decor and finnishing up small stuff to the tank/stand.
