FIRST Plywood Build With Pics

what kind of ply are you using? What are your plans to seal it? What thickness glass?

I am using 3/4 inch ply, and the glass will be 3/8". I am going to try something different for sealing it actually. I found a site that sells sheets of ABS plastic, so I will paint the interior black, then put black abs plastic sheets (approximately .062" thick) on all other sides. Lastly I will caulk it up with 100% silicon, and add the top frame.

Why did you go so small? Plywood tanks are only cost effective after about 400 gallons. Unless you have something bigger planned, this was kind of a waste of money/time.

You may want to do some research on your plan to silicone the plastic seams. I do not beleive they make a silicone that will bond to plastic and hold pressure.

It won't really need to seal too tightly, since it won't be taking pressure, it'll be supported by the wood.

I still agree a better idea would be to seal properly.
