Top is sealed with sponge. And i took the water down about 1". That plus the domed lid should work for airspace.
I started a feeder guppy colony a few months back. Gone from about a dozen to 60 or so since was planning on taking most of the males out this weekend and tossing them in.
So no more other fish in there with them? Just give it more time to settle in, maybe they got scared of the firemouth, most polys dont defend themselves.
My son likes to catch worms from the garden to feed to the fish. Should they be chopped up for these guys or can they rip and tear
Oh of course. They get a few pellets daily and every other day i put either a brine shrimp or a krill cube in. The worms he catches are usually pretty small like 1/8-3/16 in diameter and like 2 inches long. Reason i ask is he gave them about 5 to them today and the smaller sen had half of a worm just hanging there looking like it was chewing
