Thanks. Already knew what the pleco was, but the syno was throwing me for a loop. Can't wait till he's huge!:headbang2

nice cats, hows that Columbo doing in FW?

He's doing ok so far. He's about 6" right now. No signs of illness, but I do add a small dose of salt during water changes. Less than 1 tsp per 10 gals. I bought him not knowing he was a brackish fish. My neighbor necro notified me of what it was, and I will try to provide a good home for him as long as possible.

that redtail is gunna eat alot of those fish.

The redtail is in a tank by himself now. He has never eaten a live fish and is on a strict shrimp/bloodworm diet. Soon we are going to try and feed him fruit. he will also be going into necro's tank until we finish mine. :nilly:

Hey guys just checking in. Necro is back from work, and I took care of his fish while he was gone. I brought some friends over and showed them his big fish, and they were amazed. Then I showed them how they can be petted and I fed pieces of hotdog to them to show how they eat out of my hand. They went nuts!!!:nilly: Anyway my RTC now resides in Necro's 75 gal for the time being. He's healed up a lil since getting his @$$ kicked by Necro's Jau. He's eating great and getting huge. Also some sad news my columbian sharkcat died. He was fine, and in a matter of hours his whiskers curled, and he was barely breathing. I consulted Necro and he confirmed it was the end. We put him out of his misery. he didn't even try to swim, just tail standing and eroding. I know now to keep them brackish if I ever decide to get another one. Don't plan on keeping another though, and got a rapheal catfish to replace him. His name is Flower from bambi like the skunk from the movie. And a common pleco also named Piston, cause he swims up and down like a piston. They are eating tons, and doing great. Here's the last pic of Small Block before he went to Necro's house.

Sorry to hear about the Columbian... But on the upside... more cats :D thats never a bad thing LOL

be warned though... you've started a bad habit already and will most likely follow in a couple of members foot steps... When you lose one and replace it with 2... your going to end up converting your Garage into a Tank

I have NEVER seen a baby RTC!
Soooooo adorable! XD
