I have a very large LMB in my pond and it hates other fish. Killed a koi twice it's size. And please don't put that fish back into the wild, it can screw up more than you think. If it gets some parasite in your tank, it could be devastating. I think that plant may be Elodia. I have a pickerel with my crappie and they are great togethor.

bass is here to stay until my friend gets his tank up and running, till then i decided to see what would happen if i put a crappie in the tank. It was a disaster the bass was shaking his head doing threat displays never seen that before so that was interesting. The crappie was the same size but put up no fight got beat on for a bit chased around and ripped up some plants and with almost no effort i got the crappie in a plastic bag and then into my brothers tank almost like he wanted to get out of there i do admit the bass does look very menacing when hes unhappy. So yeah don't try to put another fish in with a bass who's well established in the tank already doesn't work. more pics to come soon

I have a lmb and it is with a gar and a catfish. the catfish is only about 2 1/2in. long and that is smaller thatn the shiners that he eats. he never messes with the catfish to the point of doing any damage. he will chase both of them around a bit but like i said, noting that does any damage to the other fish. you will need to upgrade soon though. when i got mine about a year and a half ago, he was small enough to fit down the mouth of a 2 liter bottle. (that is how i caught him. cheap mans minnow trap) and now he is eating fish bigger than the was then. they are fast growers as you can see.
