Thanks. The big cichlid is a pearsei. The big barb is now bigger then him. That is a lemon barb.

Its looking nice! Just thought the Cuba would be better by now, or did you replant it?

Hi,

Just wanted to advise that I expect the new Elatine Triandra (ET) carpet to be 'installed' within the next 2 weeks

The plant is doing really well, spreading fast, so am able to divide and replant and cover large areas quickly. It looks nice already and I think will look really great when complete. I think it may be high maintenance but we will see.

I will also let the hairgrass cover the entire right hand corner but trim it short to tall going left to right. This will mimic the hardscape angle behind it and not interfere with the view of the plants behind it..

As an FYI, I never had HC in this tank, but did have some in my old 180. I like it, but never did really well for me, like some other plants, so I tend to stick with what does well for me..
