:welcome: to MFK!

If by butterfly loaches, you meant the hillstream loaches, there are dozens of species that do exist. These fish in general prefer fast flowing and cold water. An ideal temperature for them would be 68-76 degrees Fahrenheit and they must be kept in river specialist tanks in order to thrive properly.
Thanks for the welcome, yeah there hillstream loaches, I didnt find all that stuff out till I got home and googled them. I dont know exactly how fast the water needs to be flowing but in the little ten gallon I always see the water swirling around. I also didnt know they should be in groups of 5 or more so I have to get 3 more. Thanks for the heads up appreciated!
