Hello, this is my first post on this forum. I have an outdoor pond with a few vicious monster comets. I hope that you don't hold that against me.

:welcome:

Nice to have you around:)

Welcome... And lots of people here have Monster Goldies LOL

Welcome to MFK!!!

Yes, alot of people have g.fish...they just don't/won't admit to it. :D

They claim there feeders...yea right.

What size pond and how many g.fish?

Let's get you a few more posts so you can put up some pix!

BTW interesting handle... Is there a story?

The pond: 180-200 gallon outdoor pond with a fountain/filter with about seven comets (pikachu, coomachiki, larry, moe, curly, midnight, and milagro). I had more until a bullfrog ate a few of them...oh the horror!). No pictures yet. Up until the fall, I had hardy lilies and water hyachinths.

As for the handle, I am an electrical engineer who works with high voltage and high-power microwave transmitters. As a hobby, I am on the slow track to building a tesla coil. We live on a lake and it is my goal to one day give a high-voltage demonstration lakeside to those on the lake on the 4th of July. Nikola Tesla is one of my heros.

I also like other interests such as fish ponds (obviously), 60s era musclecars (a year ago I finally had to sell my 1966 Fairlane GT), and competition shooting (I shoot on a local pistol league). Enough information?

The avatar and poem in my sig is from the "Freaky Fred" episode of "Courage the Cowardly Dog" cartoon. I miss that show...*sniff*.

Thanks for the warm welcome and Happy Halloween!.
