update: so yeah in the daytime, not much movement just lays in the corner. nitetime quite active and moving about. Been trying to feed twice daily. Once in the morning it will take 3-4 pieces of shrimp. Nite time takes maybe 1-2 shrimps. On some day it will only eat 3-4 pieces of shrimp in the morning n just swim over the shrimp during nite time feedings.

lites off, tank is in the basement. natural sunlite in the daytime n pitch dark at nite
Sounds spot on to me mate. The subdued light can only help keep the ray calm whilst it settles in
lol, being reading how social rays are. now I want to get another one to keep her company. Eventually she'll be with other non-ray tankmates. My biggest worry is that keeping her solo will make her aggressive that future tankmates might get beat up
lol yeah, he texted me regardin buying some. I might just have to get another one. Trev was rite, these rays r addicting. But gotta play it smart, gotta figure out my budget/bioload first.
