most of your list is pretty good. I agree to watch out for angels, and also, even in an established reef tank it is hard to meet the food needs of dragonets like mandrins and scooters. Lastly, royal gramma and dotty backs can be intolerant of each other. For some reason they don't like others of a similar look and size.
