Just looked in my 20 long tonight and one of my Bolivian Rams is guarding a big ole mess of eggs. Only one of the other three in the tank is close to the eggs (she charges the other two) I'm wondering if they are even fertilized. I had not noticed her pairing up with anyone.

Yeah I was really surprised with the amount of eggs.

She might have allowed a male to fertilize them and then chased him away. Although ive also seen females lay a but load of eggs and not let anyone male near them. In the pic they look viable. One more day should say if theyre good or not.

Cool! As I watched them a little bit this morning there was another fish on guard but he was more on the outside perimeter. I guess I better start looking into a prefilter for the HOB on the tank.

I am going to try and use Repashy Spawn and grow. Make up a batch, slap it on a rock and let the little freaks eat away.

It seems like I can see black dots in the eggs. I am assuming that is a good sign.
