First tanks?

Does anyone remember there first tank?

ours was one of those decorative bamboo aquariums, i would guess that the capacity was between 15 and 20g. i know they were pretty popular in the PI and Guam, i dont know about stateside though.

Well my first tank was one of those 5 gallon mini bows. I had it stocked with all tetras and 2 snails. This was maybe 4-5 years ago.

Got a job at a pet store and did not know a damn thing about fish, slowly started to learn and really get into it. My first tank was/is a 55 gallon with two Convict pairs.

my first tank was a 40 gal, started out with turtles first though.

Mine was a glass 20g with stainless steel framing and a slate bottom. It was a community tank and the largest thing in it was an angelfish.

My first tank was in the third grade, a ten gallon with no hood and a bubbling pump type that they dont even make anymore. It had a goldfish that lived for about 3 years then I learned the hard way why tanks need covers.

15 gal. M&H metal frame, MY mom bought it for me at x-mas.
It's 38 yrs. old and I still have it. Will never part with it!

mine was a 20 high with stupid gold fish then not knowing better got a 12 clown knife named 1 eye willie cuz he had 1 eye stupid me big fish little tank plenty of feeders though(lol) but still have the tank and still holds water 18 years later

a 10g community tank, from around 14 years ago. it had various tetras and barbs and an angelfish or two in it.

said tank now rests 5 feet from this computer, albeit currently holding 3 flagfish; 1 male 2 females. it also has some silicone patching on it on a corner, from where it was cracked.

wow, 38 yrs? thats amazing..i couldnt tell you where my first tank had gone, or that it would still be usable if i did have it, it would be about 20 yrs old right now..
