ok, this is my first post here... hey all!, anyhow. im in the process of getting a tank.. its used, and the guy doesnt know how many gallons it holds... he gave me the demintions, and from what i have seen on the site im guessing it is about 130 -150 gallons. but i really dont know ... can you tell me?

72" long, 23.5" high (top to bottom) and 18.5" deep

so at 6 ft long, and almost 2 feet tall and a foot and a half deep... hmmm im finding a LOT of things on this site that i want to do... lol that styrofoam rock wall thing is on my mind huge... and to just use it as a back ground rather than a river/stream... that would be easy cheese.... plus i could hide the powerheads and stuff with it too... hmmm

ok but first things first... any guesses on how big this tank really is?

us gals

if you measured outside (lets assume new inside measurements)

(72x23x18)/231 = 229 ish

if you measured inside

(72x23.5x18.5)/231 = 235 ish

& you're off by 2 letters :nilly:.

Seriously though nice catch, I would hate to see the floor, had my "mis" calculation been used  .
