So how long will they last in a 600 g? I guess when they start swimming against the glass u know its time for an upgrade.. I'll have to accommodate when i move homes very soon and plan a bigger set up at least 4-5 times what i have now .. pool or pond is not practical.. not taking any risks with kids ( when i have them) and my 7 y/o pit, and its no fun if u cant see them. I'll just doube up and go for something more roomy, I know a guy here who will make a tank any size providing you buy the glass..a few questions: 1)what would you say is a minimum set up for these guys when full grown? they dont seem to move too much and very content right now.. 2)do they do better in groups? seems they are more aggressive towards other fish in a small group.. but one is definatly the alpha male/female.. 3) would the spiny eels and suncat fish (or any tankmates for that matter) survive in there with adequate hiding places? they seem to leave them alone right now..
I will try to post a vid of them eating a geco, plenty of them where i live.. stay tuned..

ps. how do i upload pics hosted by MFK? can i upload vids?

that depends...what is the footprint (dimensions) of the tank. that is what will determine the size at which the fish can live in there safely. i would say a good 2 years.
