First time i have ever been embarased at a lfs

Took my wife over to my lfs for some Endler's for a nano planted tank but they were out so she picked out some "show"Guppies ,and as it happens my friend was tied up so i got a young fellow to take care of my list.
When we were done he asked how long my tank was setup for, and of course my reply was a little bit of a dry remark "which one"? I said.
I either get the guy who says sure a Oscar will do great in a 10 gallon or the guy who is genuine and thought i just bought a bowl and some guppies :) and 200 w titanium heater that i was carrying.
Dud from lfs if your are reading this sorry i didnt mean to sound pretentious or rude it just came out.
Back to my tangs they sound cooler then ordering guppies ;)
 
So what was the embarrassment?
 
That embarrasses you how?

Your the exact type of customer that I can't stand. I also work at a pet store, and we get such a range of customers, and we have absolutely no idea their experiences and their set ups. So you got frustrated at a kid for not reading your mind and knowing your background, and he was just trying to help?

+1. Could be your first tank as far as he knows. He was knowledgable and trying to do the right thing by the fish

:chillpill: thought it would be funny for everyone to hear how a big tattooed guy that keeps a house full of tanks feels when in the little girls section at a general pet store ..
End of story have a nice night im going to play with my guppys now :grinno:
