First time i have ever been embarased at a lfs

Not sure how u were embarased either. There's many people on here keeping guppies. Why should u feel embarased buying anything anyway? If u want it then u have the right to buy it. My wife wants a small pink xmas tree for our daughter so I plan on going out and buying it and it doesn't bother me either and I'm a big guy with tats too.

Doesn't matter what fish you keep, its the heart and time you put into your setups that's makes you a mfk....

I kind of feel Where OP is coming from. It almost felt like an interrogation when I started frequenting the petsmart near me. I too felt "out of pocket" when dealing with a clerk with an existence shorter than my hobby. Doesn't mean one is a jerk or anything... But feelings are feelings. Maybe its an alpha male thing, where the pack leader scoffs at the challenge of underlings.

I buy guppies almost everyday!to feed to my fish lol
But I do like how the color stands out in them,hmmmm maybe I'll start a 10g planted tank for guppies :)
I just got my wife a red wolf fish this morning for her mini monster tank and it's siik!

But I feel were the op is coming from as well,especially when you get out of work around 6pm and the only lfs is a petco and they tell you guppies change sex if there's to Many males or bettas are the most aggressive fish that you can't keep with your fahakAs!lol and one time I actually believed them back in the day when I had my hujetas and needle nose gars so I tried it and the betta bieng bigger was swallowed within seconds!
