thanks hex.. I have a pair or wood frame windows im going to install symmetrically in the shed once I re arrange the framing inside.. then ill hang planter boxes under them.. that one of many things i have on the list of to dos for the garden. ill put updated pictures up this spring last fall i added a 7 foot birch cluster to the left side of rocks my brother delivers trees to i get alot of free bees people reject or that (fall off the truck) lol

Goldfish come in several varieties. Sarrasa, Shubunkin, and comets are the most common. Watonia and Wakins are double tailed, hardy varieties that are nice additions.

300 gal. is to small for any or a Koi. A good rule is 1000 gal. for the first Koi, 500 gal./for each other. The just get to big and produce a lot of waste for small ponds. It is done, way to often actually, but special care is needed.

Plants, there are many, many, many, to many to list. Start with a dwarf lily. A few marginals for the egdes and Hyacinth in the Bio-Falls.

I can give you more species and specs. as the temps. rise.

what is the best method of planting them? mesh baskets with rock in them or what?

I plan to make the pond bigger in the next couple years.. not sure if i can go over 1000g or not but i hope to get over 500.
