Another option is to just go all PVC since you will be buying primer and cement anyway to glue the PVC you do have. A little more work, but definitely functional and can be clean too.

In the world of sumps its limitless! But the easiest thing is just the pool filter hose been using it for a while about a decade and works great. I used PVC on other tanks as well works great as well but I like the hose it makes it less bendy and more free flow IMO depending where your sump is.
