i was talking about your water level rising, yes those are clown fish, and luckily a paired set, cant wait till the gender and see if they spawn

if you are interested in corals, there are a few sites to check out, lots of killer info, and you can always find someone close to you, so you dont have to pay shipping for the more rare stuff

Just something to think about if you are going to be using live rock you may want to take the bioballs out

I know... the guy was wanting to re-do his floors in the house... his wife said sure... bu tthe tank goes! I rushed over once I got him on the phone. As far as what is going in the tank... I am still researching as I am completely ignorant to marine tanks. I have had many freshwater tanks, but those are a different animal. I am open to all advise and suggestions.

I can tell you from what I have read, that it seems you have a choice between a reef tank, and a fish tank. I lean more towards fish as I "think" it will be a bit cheaper... and I love fish. I like puffer fish, tangs so far.

well, there are a ton of reef safe fish out there that are amazing, spotted anthis, or most of the anthis breeds, tangs, clowns, blue throat triggers, coral beautys, firefish, rabbit fish, wrasse's, i could go on forever, but you get the idea, and the neat thing with a reef is, if you get in with some of the marine clubs you can get all the corals you want alot cheaper than dealing with a LFS. the main differences are lighting, and nutrition really. other than that FOWLR and Reef tanks are verry similar, not to mention when you get into the reef safe fish, you are alot more likely to keep cool critters like starfish, shrimp, crabs, snails, all the stuff that makes a symbiotic relationship and reduces the maintinance on a tank.

not to drive traffic away from this site, but reefcentral.com is a great site for information, along with reef2reef.com, check around you probably have a marine club close to you that has a site also.

You mentioned the light... the guy I bought from also gave me this light that takes (4) coralife bulbs... and it has a fan in it. Thanks for the insight on the reef tank!!!
