I have 6 running tanks in my 1 bedroom apt! including 2 on the patio! Sign me up, I have a feeling it's only gonna get worse once I venture to marine !

HI, I have a teenage son who is so happy to be getting a garage apartment, haven't told him I need his bedroom for all my tanks.
My name is Tina, I am a fish-a-holic.

There are 6 tanks in your bedroom?! :WHOA: Isn't it a little too cold right now to have tanks on the patio? Are you in the Bahamas or something? LOL! Let's get a list of the tanks that you have! Marine tanks can be very equipment intensive (read $$$$) if you're thinking of coral. Not too bad if you'll be going with fish-only or FOWLR (fish only with live rock).

Hello Jorge! The hobby helps keep you sane, though. (In a way, I guess.) Nothing more relaxing than sitting in front of a clean tank with one of your cats on your lap and just watching your fish watch you.
completely agree...............one big BUMP for mfk

I too am guilty of owning alot of tanks. I had 12 at one time, however the smallest was 55g. I loved the fish but it made my place look kinda crappy like a fish store. I built a new house and my wife forced me down to 2 tanks plus it looks nicer not having a tank every 3 feet from me. Istill have enough supplies to equipt maybe 15 tanks lol.

One cure to help you down size is to just get a large tank. I noticed most of yours are small. Getting one big tank you get the same gallonage will less maint and used floor space.

I'm almost 13 and I have a 55 gallon with a common pleco.
I am also getting a 30 gallon next year.

I have a finished basement. I told my husband we could line up the walls with fish tanks, but he somehow does not seem to think this is a fabulous idea like I do.

I would question the whole support factor of that hubby of yours:ROFL: If it was me I would have been all for it:D If it makes you feel any better my wife wouldn't have liked the idea either. I had to pretend to get a tank for my son just so I could get a tank at home:headbang2

The back three walls of my basement is my fishroom and they are lined with a 180,125,65,55,and my 10 gallon feeder tank.My family, friends and I thought that was extreme untill I joined this forum.
