......................................................... left for five days but tetra died when was gone and decomposed and got somewat eaten plus there was feeder block in tank so I removed block but I believe that is wat cuased outbreak both deseased fish I had in tank one withpopeye other with fin rot died last night:( .................................
Ditch feeder blocks entirely. they are death. fish are better off hungry when you leave, than poisoned in putrid water.
Many many years ago I put a small one in a tank before leaving for surgery (lfs sold me on it).
came home a week later to the most disgusting tank of death I ever had in my life.

will the hatchetfish and lemon tetra survive wihout food for 5-7 days?

they should be fine. certainly better than being in a putrid tank.
if you will be away for too long, leave a pre-measured portion for someone to feed about halfway through your trip. hide fish food containers so they won't feed more.
Some people use automatic feed dispensers. I would make sure it works correctly beforehand, and at minimal setting. I'm just not sure if there are feeders that dose small enough amounts for a few tiny fish. too much food is worse than none.
OR, even some plants and algae can be nibbled on.

probably ok. consider your options as posted previously in thread.
if nothing else, maybe some anacharis stalks would be nibbled on. at least they don't pollute.

planning on adding some hornwort before I leave for oxygenating, hideing, and possibly some filteration purposes would this be nibbled on? might also have flame sword in tank

some fish will nibble on hornwort, especially new growth.
keep in mind, plants need some light to oxygenate water. You'd be best off posting specific plant-related questions in the planted tank forum.
