I like bare bottom tanks. All of my tanks are bare bottom. Gravel only collects debris and makes more difficult and harder to clean. You can make a bare bottom tank look nice with driftwood.

Are those Florida gar? How big were they when you got them?

2 glorida and one spotted -one fla was 10 inches the other 11. I got the spitted at 12

Thank you! And yes, the pond was originally for amazon predators so i put the fridge in for frozen foods

Set ups look good but a little bit of sand can go long way towards aquascaping. Easy maintenance unlike gravel too.
