I have dive pictures on my walls, but I don't think a tank would go over so well.

hahaha same here! im just new here so for now i cant put tanks here at my office but when i decide to stay here il sneak an aquarium here even if its not allowed

It also has proven to be a great conversation starter and helps people open up. If your workplace is a place where you need people to talk and open up then a fish tank is a great idea.

I have a monster betta in a monster 0.5g tank in my office. Still trying to convince the VP to buy us a tank in the lobby for me to play with.

I've often thought about putting in a small 5G - 10G in the office with some Crystal Red Shrimp or Sulawesi shrimp... but considering my work schedule can be absolutely hectic at times, i decided against it incase i don't have time to properly care for it...

Although in our China office, some of the staff wanted to setup a stingray tank when they heard that i was a fish keeper and was used to dealing with large tanks... till the moment i said, i'll help set it up, but you guys have to deal with the maintenance... then every body shut up...

I used to. But it became a PITA to do w/c's. We're in engineering industry so carrying water buckets around is not very professional looking...

My boss finally caved and will pay to have a tank put into the office. He is really set on a saltwater tank although he does like the way discuss look. I have always wanted to do saltwater so may go that route and was looking at glasscages.com at their 100g long or 75g long rimless.
