Fish ate glass

My son told me that my water cow jumped into the versa top. The shards of glass were then eaten by my Midas, rose queen and the water cow. All three are laying down at the bottom of the tank.. Any suggestions? Don't think they are going to make it. Should I just put clove oil?

that is bad:( ... wait it out a little IMO .. MAYBE ONE OR ALL MIGHT NOT BE AS BAD AS YOU THINK...

+1. Not a lot that can be done as I'm afraid Epsom salt may do more harm than good. Wait it out a bit and watch for signs of constipation. It actually suprises me they ate it and not just took it in and spit it out. They may just be stressed out and will be just fine. Unless you know they swallowed some if certainly hold off on the Clove oil. Give it some time and keep us posted.

All three were dead this morning. Really shocked myself that they didn't or weren't able to spit the glass out. I checked all water param.. Just in case last night. All was good. "It is what is it." Sucks that a few of my favorite fish with character died but I guess I can start looking for more fish now :-)

Wow I can't believe they actually ate the glass. I feel bad for them if that glass was tearing up there insides all this time :/

That sucks, I don't buy brand name tops... any glass store can cut you pieces for your top for the same price or cheaper. Out of thicker glass...
 
sorry for your loss Yumu,, I am sure you will find good replacement fish..
