trying to move a 10-12 inch oscar and pleco of about the same size. i've only moved betas and cories before.
I was going to adapt my previous method (fish in bag in cooler full of newspaper), but i don't know what kind of bags to use for such large fish, i assume trash bags are not an option, and that it would need to be food safe plastic. I don't know if freezer bags come in big enough sizes. We tried going to the LFS but they didn't have any bags bigger than what wal-mart uses for fish. any help/advice is greatly appreciated. thank you

That's what I use. I have a power inverter to power the heater and pump. If you have one that's the way to go and it's convenient. If you don't you can buy one cheap or you may have to find another solution.
