Fish behaviors

But seriously.. If you own a knife fish..then you know their eyes are sensitive to light.
My Clownknife does have plenty of shade to choose from..he just prefers the fin of a Catfish!

Most of these "hunter" type knives like chitala, xenomystus and papyrocranus have better eyesight than gymnotus species and other electric knives to compensate for a lack of the electrical organ. Does your clown knife hide? All the knives I have kept/seen in long term tanks definitely don't shy away from light when they are comfortable. Funny photo though!
