hello we all know that alot of aquarium books have thousands of mistakes so lets point out some of the really big ones and some of your favorites

THE AQUARIUM FISH HANDBOOk
iridescent sharks get up to 13.5'' in captivity and require a 180 gallon tank...
red tailed catfish get up to 6'' in captivity and require a 240 gallon tank...
they ranked a sengal bichir as one of the hardest fish to care for...

What year was the book written? That plays a big factor in its information... Because I have some cichlid magazines from the 90's and some of its info is wrong.

And I don't know if this counts as books but most of the Petsmart labels about fish size and tank requirements are usually ALL wrong.

The upside down needlefish in the Axelrod's mini-atlas is pretty blatant. A quick look makes you wonder what's wrong and a closer look clearly reveals that they thought the reflection against the surface of the water was the actual fish, and they inserted the image upside down!
