Flying Spaghetti Monster. I think His Noodlyness has an account here...

I'm a guy and I am almost always right on inches. I've moved so much furniture, cut so much lumber and won so many bets, played so many yard games that I'm usually within 1" of a measurement after four feet, and pretty much dead on any length under that. Maybe some guys get confused, but good luck trying to fool me on size in real life.

And I don't know if this counts as books but most of the Petsmart labels about fish size and tank requirements are usually ALL wrong.

I have found the information from the Petsmart staff to even worse. I have overheard them give customers horrible advice....everything from what fish can live together, filtration, tank size requirements, etc.

I once meet a chick at lowes(employee) that thought 3 feet of tubing was 6 feet of tubing, so I told her to measure it and behold it was 3 feet 2 inches. She blamed her boyfriend.

I wrote the puffer fish profiles for the last published, Encyclopedia of Exotic Freshwater Fishes, so at least you know those are correct! ;)

I have a book that was translated over from Japanese, and some of the stuff written in their is quite funny, albeit a bit sad if some one goes by those measurements...

For example, Arapaima length 3 meters, Min tank size to house one, 3Meters :screwy:

Fahaka Puffer Length: 30cm, min. tank size 60cm

Then they also have written that some brackish eels such as G.tile can live in fresh...

But either way, i never bought the book for its info, but more for pictures and names of fish so when i go looking for them over here it makes my life easier...

i have tons of aquarium books and magizines from 2005 to 2010 all is great in it no mistakes i only get new books and nem magizines now not a bad price ethier

A bowl can hold 3 small Goldfish, and you can have one fish per inch of surface area. That's the entire tank of fish

Please do not stereotype....And the Freshwater Aquariums for Dummies says Pacu get between 6"-12":nilly:....Also a book had a picture of a Palmas Polli Bichir and it said it was a Senegalus. Favorite one was a book that had a Picture Of an Endlicheri Bichir and said Endicher Bichir (Polypterus Endicher Endicher):screwy:
