Pacus are 6 inches at most
Gar is probably 8 inches
Jardini is about 8 inches
RTC is about 4 inches
Pleco is about 6 inches
Oscar is about 5 inches.
they aren't big.
Apologize, I jumped the gun on this I think.
Question, does the heavy breathing occur all the time? Or during/after feeding?
It was right after feeding! like right now they are completely fine swimming about enjoying themselves.

Cuz they were active thus they consume more energy and need more oxygen..... Aka they got riled up..

ahhh alright well that makes perfect sense ahaha. yeah i feel stupid now for asking that question.

180 gallon. ph is a flat 7.0 nitrites are 0ppm nitrates are around 15 ppm. amonia is at 0 ppm. kept at 84.7 degrees pretty consistently. I have 2 marineland 350s running 4 cartridges in each with an ehiem pro 3 2075. I have 2 Deep Blue system 50 ProSponges on opposite sides of the tank. NO substrate. with 2 powerheads on both sides of the tank aswell.
Everything sounds fine except for the size those fish get, pacu need Atleast a 400gal for life if not bigger. Hopefully you have major future plans as far as tanks go, also warmer temps can deplete oxygen levels, turn it down to 78, you'll save money on power.
