Maybe a dumb question. ...did you add dechlor to the tank?

Was the temp from the tap the same as the tank's tamp?

Did you test the water from your tap? It varies throughout the year.

i didn't know you had to add declor when you did water changes i thought you only have to do that the first time you set up??

Unless you are positive there is no chloramine or chlorine in the water you use for water changes, you should use the appropriate product that will remove those chemicals.

ok so i went to get some dechlor and it says 1 cap full does 10 gal .....but i've done several water changes without putting it in so now how much do i put in???
