How exactly does that work? Like the process. I am going to Chicago, IL from Las Vegas, NV. Would I have to let them know ahead of time, before going or coming back. Or can I just take it and pay as a carry on item?

I believe i will be heading back with fish, so can anyone help me out here?!

I will think every airline is different and rules change all the time. Best thing to do is call the airline.

Try to get a copy of the policy on fish to. Some here had a situation where the airline told him one thing on the phone and when he got their it was something diffrent. You should maybe call TSA to.

I tried doing more research on but no luck. The Airline im using will be Spirit Airlines! Do you know where i can find that specific information?

What is TSA? Sorry.

The TSA'S are the people who will check you and your carry on luggage for prohibited items. They probably will not allow you to bring live fish past their checkpoints.

Sad face... I havr NEVER been on a plane, of any sort! So I wouldnt really much about the process..

Any way how I can manage it? I wont be getting anything HUGE just like, a Dovii or something!

There is a thread from not too long ago about a member who was also looking to bring fish on a plane.I don't remember if he was successful or not but you can search the threads in this section and see if he posted his outcome.

Is it the Carefree guy's threas youe talking about or the one where in his default he has a goutee beard?

Here's a link that has some info that might be useful regarding liquids taken on-board. It's more a problem with liquids, not the fish most likely. The 3-1-1 rule doesn't look promising.

Oh yes I had read that! They just check if the fish is moving about to see if the liquid is not an explosive. But thank you for the resourceful link!
