Hey guys I have recently moved to Maputo and finally snakeheads are legal here ?

I managed to get 2 Channa micropeltes about 2 inches...Would they be fine with a Golden Dorado which is about 3 inches?

They have been in the tank together for the past 4 days now and no signs of fighting...I’m just worried about the long run?

Well good luck and have fun with that tank. An dorado is an psychopathkiller on speed and micros are even worse killers and will probably outgrow the dorado.

Do you think I should rather not take the chance? Both fish are very hard to come by here so I wouldn’t want to loose anything due to fighting

looking at full grown dorado's on google image search it looks much bigger than a micro. should be fun to see how they grow out together...

So you so happened to move at the exact same location where you were going to get a channa stewartii from?

Either way, your dorado is going to bully and kill the channa. if it doesn't, when the micro reaches sexual maturity, your dorado is going to be found in all corners of your tank. At the same time.

Stop trying to fool us, your location to the system is still the same province you were in previously. Many many miles from Mozambique. Please destroy the Channa and read the blacklists before purchasing another illicit fish otherwise the DEA may have to get involved.
