Howdy P4, thanks for the post & your a lucky to be able to go fishing for tropicals in your back yard.
I was wondering about your area & current situation with drought plus the damns they want to build more of down there.
What is your take on it & is there a way to stop or prevent the damns being built?
I was in Peru collecting a couple years ago & talked about it & how the damage to the fishes etc. it will cause. Recently I herd there was no stopping it?
thanks

Thanks!
About the drought. I wouldnt worry about the fish population. People are being stranded out there since it is so low. It is the lowest in recorded history though. The rainy season is here though so hopefully the worst of it is over.
About the dams i havent heard anything about it recently and dont know much about it but we will just have to wait it out, i really dont think very many fish will go extinct though. Sorry i dont have the info you are looking for.
Sonny, I cant drive (underaged) so i have no control over when i can collect hopefully by saturday i will have gotten out again. I REALLY WHISH i could get out more, but it isnt possible.
Rob, I will do a thread about every trip i make look at my blog (passionate4pikes.wordpress.com) for more information, but i will post every good trip here. We got back in brazil two weeks ago so this was my first trip.
