Right I would do a dwarf cichlid tank with red hook silver dollars as dithers. MAybe some barred dollars and a few spotted dollars too

Hmmm... since u like the silver aro., maybe u should try the jardini instead, he's more aggressive, and won't grow as large as the silver aro., try an african tiger pike or other oddball preditor types which usually go well as tankmates...

A midas pair would be fine, beautiful fish, just keep with other fish that can hold their ground.
