fish compatability

If you have another 75 gallon you can set up i'd suggest going ahead and getting the oscar and putting em in the 75 as a single fish setup, and that way u have a bit more leeway on the larger tank

I second this. For some reason, I just love oscars! Many people on here don't like them, but when well cared for, they are awesome fish!

Same, haha, Mine quickly became my favorite fish - tons of personality can't beat it
 
I currently have that same combination with a hi-fin spotted pleco, a peacock eel, and a school of 8 giant danios (note, i started with 10 :D) but in a 150 you're open to a lot more options than I am in a 75 (plus my GT is a female, should stay smaller, assuming ur gonna go for a male)
