Well we could just count the tiger barbs out then they really need more than 5 in their school... You could do silver dollars instead!
 
either the blood parrot or bad water quality killed them? well if you think it was bad water quality you need to address that before adding more fish haha

in a 200 gallon i have a hard time believing that a bp killed some tiger barbs. i would definitely add more... after I've tested the water.

but as already stated, id go with some more mellow cichlids. fire mouths, severum. id also add more cory cats, they're awesome in big groups.

i don't know enough about chocolate cichlids but i don't think they're the most aggressive.

I like chI like chocate cichlids because I feel like they are often overlooked even though I think they are an attractive fish they are also pretty passive and obtain a nice size! Also they are not timid usually out and about often!
 
my experience with syns is that they can be pretty freaken aggressive. but i don't know how they would behave in a 200 gallon tank.
