corydoras are a good choice, will not bother anyone and there's a vast variety of different species to choose from

not getting black shark as i have just looked them up, they grow upto 60cm and i thought they only grew upto 25. they are also really agressive and you cant put any other fish in with them.

might get somthing along those lines, probobly somthing between 6-9"
thats easy to care for.
u maybe could do a school of rainbows....

Yes by all means stay away from any of the "sharks". The black can get to 23 inches and is crazy agressive, espicially with your stock, I had them with central take no prisoner cichlids and the black shark still kicked aszz. Redtail sharks will chase mercilessly slow moving fish like your stock. I have a 7 inch redtail but he is in an 85 with large plecos and large redhook silver dollars and he still tries to start stuff. LOL As was mentioned any of the corydoras catfish will be perfect. You could mix or match in a nice school they eat off the bottum and will bother nothing. Youre african brown knife if that is what you speak of will max out at 6 inches and if he has a cave to hide in he will be fine sane if you have a ghost knife. Also do a school of rummy nose tetras to round the tank off.

i think i might get:
6-7 red raimbows,
2 discus,
2 angels,
1 black ghost knife fish,
5-8 corys,
and a few apple snails.

so far is this a good combination or is it over stocking my 300L?
