Hello Everyone,

I'm looking for all the good fish and creatures that can go into a Piranha tank. Everything and anything!

Thanks all,

Christos

No, I have a Pacu that I bought at Walmart on friday, but last night I ordered 2 Red Bellied Piranhas and am expecting them tomorrow. But down the road I will have a 350 gallon tank that I want to turn into a Amazon like habitat and go all out on it with not just piranhas.

Just looking for some ideas?

Thanks All,

Christos

pleco, pacu, smaller fish like mollys or guppys, well if your P is not juveniles anymore. here a pic of my P's with tankmates :) just for an idea.

Thanks, that helps me to get a bit of an idea. I do have a Pacu which I would say is about 3-4" and he is in the tank right now, so when these P's come tomorrow which are 4" should I be worried about them attacking the Pacu, or will they all get along.

I want to add more fish other then just Piranhas
Also anymore suggestions?

Thanks,

Christos

Depends a lot on the individual fish too.. they might get along or eat it!! you can never say without trying but i wouldn't personally try to mix RBP with another fish..

This sucks but true.....EVERYTHING will get ate.... It's a matter of time. No one has succesfully cohabed RBPs with anything for the life of the RBPs. Plecos seem to last the longest. b/c they get big and are armored. But they still bite the bullet in time. Mollies and other dithers will get ate also. they may be fast swimmers when chased but if they get pushed into a corner they are goners.

So if you want to try and cohab then go with the dithers that's a good idea b/c they are pretty cheep and a decent live food but sorry to say it again but everything will end up being RBP food on a long enough timeline.

HINT: read the stickies

ive tried plecos, corys, turtles, guppies, mollys,

nothing survives not even SNAILS!!!!
