Fish expo's near NY?

Yeah i just saw they for the 1st time at a lfs the other day. i thought they looked pretty cool. they were going for $10 for 3inchers

its in north jersey,I go every year.Lots of african cichlids,but alot of everything else too,plecos of all sorts.I saw a tiger shovelnose at 18"+ go for under $20 red belliy pirana $1.I bought my pikes there and most of my mbuna. Last one they started a rare fish raffle,and raffled off Synodontis granulosus, Paretroplus menarambo, Pseudoacanthicus sp. Scarlet Pleco.

300mile round trip for me and I wouldnt miss it!!:headbang2

Blue oscars are artificially dyed. The process is extremely hard on the the fish and many die in the process. The color isn't permanent, eventually it will fade and you're left with a regular "albino".

Good to know. I was kind of wondering about that. Didnt think it was a natural thing. Still think they were pretty nice looking though.
